It’s rare to find a cafe with such an extensive menu of delicious local food, healthy smoothies, and the finest coffee. What’s the coolest part of Sagtown Coffee? The people and environment match the high quality eating/drinking experience. Sagtown is a cafe where everybody who steps through the welcoming doors is treated like a local. Doesn’t matter if you live down the street and you stop in daily for morning coffee on the way to work (or an early morning surf), or it’s your first time visiting Sag Harbor. You’re treated like a friend in this gem of a neighborhood cafe and eatery. This is a spot that makes you feel at home. There’s a real community vibe inside, especially when the owner (a local community leader and volunteer firefighter) is there to make sure every customer is satisfied and greeted with a sincere smile and a hearty Sag Harbor handshake. This is one of those unique spots which everybody passing through town must visit. If there was any coffee shop with the same energy and warmth as the TV show “Cheers” this is it.
Perfect breakfast spot serving eggs, burritos, avocado toasts, and smoothies / acai, and more. The line is slightly long on the weekend but it’s better than the alternatives.
Sagtown Coffee by far has its own most publicly different declared personality which as you walk up the stairs alerts you the experience will be next level for drinks, for ambience, for noshes and, most important, a beautifully clean bathroom. Note, to owner- there are some things that should not be done with visitors able to see because it was seen.
What a cozy place! Beautiful store with a wonderful customer service! Definitely a place to come back again and again! Coffees are 100% tasty!
Mega fun and chill atmosphere at Sagtown coffee. All of our coffees, smoothies and gelato were prepared with care and were delicious. All staff here exceptionally friendly, professional and helpful. A few really comfortable tables both inside and outside to enjoy your beverages and treats. A must visit the next time you are in the village.
It was very busy Saturday morning but worth the wait. Super great coffees and various of food selections. All very GOOD! Nice atmosphere! Can’t wait to come back to have Sagtown coffee and breakfast!
Grabbed their well known butterscotch latte and a cold brew while in town. Fast service even with a long line. Pastries and muffins looked fresh but my guess is that they aren't made here. Latte is better quality and taste than any Starbucks offering although a bit sweet. Cold brew is smooth and not at all acidic. Overall a great place for a traveling coffee enjoyer.
OK so I don’t usually buy oatmeal out because I find it to be overpriced and not really that good it’s usually cold the fruit is hard not worth it. However, I came in to Sag town which I haven’t been in a few years but I work in Sag harbor again so I came in and I had the oatmeal with coconut milk. Oh my gosh next level.! it was so delicious so home made fresh delicious. I came back two days in a row! People are really chill good music, comfortable seating.:)
